NIT TREATENT

Combing Right tool For the job

Microgroved stainless steel fine tooth comb will comb out eggs, egg cases, all sizes of lice

Dry combing is very painful and the lice will flick out only to climb up to the head again

My preferred combing agent after many trials is a small amount of coconut oil warmed  up in the hands and  rubbed through hair. It doesn’t  drip very much. Make   sure there is a good coverage. Comb from the scalp to the hair ends, then wipe residue off on a tissue or similar. Do the whole head. Dextrous children can be taught to do  their own comb through from about age 7-8. Short hair is much easier to manage.

Cost

$9-10 for a comb as above which will last forever.

$5-6 for a large tub of cooking coconut oil which will easily last for up to 6 months for 1 person

Much cheaper than the chemicals
